8ft Module

This review is for the whole BBQ Tubes system, which I recently used to build an 8-foot island kitchen with grill, fridge, sink, storage drawer and backsplash. Assembling the various elements was just as easy as promised, although if you're doing more than the basic kit (like me) take the time to plan out each section carefully, to make sure you've got all the bases covered in terms of support and accommodating all your components. Fortunately, Chris and the guys at BBQtubes were extremely helpful, reviewing my drawings and setting me up with everything I needed. This was huge because if I had to figure it out myself, I'm sure I would've over-bought unnecessary pieces.

When I completed the frame, I was concerned because it seemed a little rickety. But then I realized I didn't have one of the main telescoping tubes secured. (It's easy to miss a screw!) And then when I added the cement board, it really solidified into a very secure structure.

I'm not completely finished yet -- waiting on the installation of a quartz countertop, but so far, it's all come together beautifully and I'm very satisfied overall. I think my kitchen will be stronger -- and safer! (no flammable wood inside) -- thanks to these products.

These were easy to assemble and provided plenty of flexibility for any appliance or accessory door that I wanted to add. I would use these again . . . perhaps to build a BBQ amusement park!

As described. Seems to be easy to installed with supplied instructions and YouTube. Ideas.

This is a great set up. It is so easy to do as well. No brainer. Only confusion I had is I bought this and a 4ft and didn’t realize the length pieces are longer on the 8 and confused when putting together, but once I figured out what was wrong it was perfect.

These were so easy to assemble. The self tapping screws and cutouts for grill etc were very simple and made for a perfect kitchen island. I’ll have a masonry guy do the stone but I saved thousands and got exactly what I wanted. If you have a power miter saw you can buy a metal blade for the couple of cuts you’ll need to make. Cut through like butter. BBQ tubes was a perfect solution.
