This is an extra item for very select few of side burners that require a platform to rest on.

Most side burners are counter top supported grill and should not have a platform.

If your side burner requires a platform you still need to order the regular grill cutout kit which makes the opening into the frame.

Some grills known to require a platform are: DCS, Lynx, Viking...
